John McEntee

John McEntee is an entrepreneur, TikTok star, and political insider. While working in the White House, McEntee realized that politics had become the number one deal breaker for relationships. With mainstream dating apps catering exclusively to liberals, and most major cities leaning left, McEntee came up with the idea of Date Right, a dating app built around conservative values. Date Right launched in November 2022, and has taken the dating world by storm. Over 300,000 users have flocked to the app which originally launched as an iOS platform but has since expanded to include Android as well. 

McEntee's promotion of the app has made him a star in his own right, with his handle @DateRightStuff having amassed over 3 billion views across TikTok and Instagram. His short form content of satirical takes while eating delicious meals has not only driven users to the app, it has had a significant impact in pop culture. McEntee's mannerisms have been emulated on all major social media platforms, with his catchphrase "got it", becoming a popular refrain for satirists. 

Besides launching Date Right and achieving TikTok stardom, McEntee has enjoyed a distinguished career in American politics. He was one of the first aides to join Donald Trump's original presidential campaign in 2015, beginning as a volunteer in Trump Tower before quickly climbing the ranks to become the Campaign's Director of Trip Planning, and eventually Trump's personal aide. In the White House, McEntee was the only aide constantly at Trump's side, traveling with him to meetings in DC and all around the world. In 2020, Trump promoted him to be Director of Presidential Personnel (PPO), the office responsible for managing the 4,000 presidential appointments to the federal government. McEntee's tenure as PPO Director was notable for its hardline policies that centralized control of the bureaucracy in the White House. Since leaving government, McEntee has been sought out as an advisor on government, most notably as a Senior Advisor to the Heritage Foundation's Presidential Transition Project (Project 2025), the most comprehensive conservative reform plan in U.S. history.
